Historic Walking Tours of West Chester

Enjoy a guided walking tour through historic downtown West Chester every Saturday morning through October. Your guide will lead you on a one-hour walk where you will hear stories of the people and places that made West Chester a Distinctive Destination selected by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The tours are perfect for the entire family.

Where
The Historic Walking Tour of West Chester gathers at The Lincoln Room (28 West Market St at Wilmont Mews; 610-696-2102). The tour begins at 10:00 am and the doors will open at 9:00 am for tea, coffee and continental treats, rain or shine. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.

Cost
Price is $10 per person (all ages) and includes a bottle of water and a $3.00 gift card to The Lincoln Room that can be used anytime on food or gift purchases. Reservations are recommended; call 610-696-2102.

Parking
There is ample free parking at the Bicentennial Garage (22 S High near Market St. Exit the rear of the garage, The Lincoln Room is to the right). Parking is also free at the meters on weekends.

Note: The Lincoln Room is located in the lower level of The Lincoln Building, regarded as the oldest commercial structure in downtown. There are 10 steps that lead to the tea room & shop and may not be accessible to all individuals.
